The biking community as a whole is indebted to the Air Ambulances and we should respect and appreciate how incredibly valuable this life saving service is. The issues of protection and safety are just as critical to bikers on roads as they are to me. Ok, so what I do is very dangerous, but highly skillful, that’s part of what makes it fun and exciting to watch! But what you don't realise is the steps I go to keep myself safe - I have to it's my career!! The dangers for bikers out on the road are also extreme.Injuries to motorcyclists are out of proportion to their presence on our roads. 'Bike4Life is a great event in terms of raising awareness of biker safety. Jamie wears specialist body-protection including knee braces and hi-tech boots as well as a protective motocross helmet to guard against possible head injuries. A three time British champion, he performs radical airborne motorcycle aerobatics and ground-based stunts. Jamie Squibb is one of the UK's top FMX riders. 3,500 bikers are expected to attend on the annual 23 mile Ride Out to RAF Cosford and over 10,000 attending the Festival where Jamie will perform. Jamie joins a host of biking talent already announced for the event including Irish singer/songwriter Shane Lynch former World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty, motorcycle and truck racing legend, Steve Parrish and adventure motorcyclist and author Nick Sanders. The UK's most successful freestyle motor cross rider Jamie Squibb is to perform a death-defying routine at the Bike4Life Festival on Sunday 30th April, to help support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
